        a.簡單
        b.直接
        c.非典型

        截拳道強調所謂的「肌肉記憶」,而當學習的動作越多越複雜時,肌肉無法確實記憶、
        清楚地分辨並即時反應每種動作,因此當外在刺激來臨的瞬間,容易導致肌肉的反應較為
        遲鈍。所以截拳道在動作的訓練上是要求日益減少的,透過更為簡單的動作,
        加深肌肉的記憶,讓反應更為直接快速。「日益減少」這個步驟,是要長年持續進行的;

       打擊與反應速度:
       a.感覺到對手動作
       b.確實看到對手動作
       c.由大腦產生反應
       d.如果是像前三步驟所述才能回應對手的動作,那麼反應就遲了,
          我們的反應應該像閃電一樣

       除了反應的速度之外,截拳道還要求動作的速度:
       a.無徵兆的動作
       b.打擊時手先動
       c.善用動作的慣性力,將可產生高速的連續打擊

       訓練截拳道的歷程:

        a.對技術與動作局部性的瞭解與應用
        b.較能流暢地應用技術與動作
        c.將技術與動作直接記憶在手和腳內
        d.不再存有技術與動作的框架,一切都變為純粹的本能反應(不用想,否則我們將會便慢)

        警戒式:
        1.是速度和力量的來源
        2.強手在前
        3.就像徒手的西洋劍一樣
        4.三角形理論:三角形是最穩固的結構(由存在千年的古埃及金字塔可見一斑),
           根據牛頓第二運動定律:當對一目標施予作用力時,必有一反向作用力由目標回傳,
           而作用力等於反作用力。而呈現三角形架構的OGP則可讓這反作用力經由全身傳導至
           地面,減少自身的衝擊與對平衡的影響。
        5.警戒式沒有所謂的中線,只有攻擊線與動力線,當三線合一時,可整合全身的向量力,
           而整合的關鍵則在步法
        6.當迫近對手時,我們可以將警戒式朝橫向開展(開樁),讓後手更容易打擊
        7.利用身體而非單純利用手去產生打擊的力度
        8.由於強手在前,加上前手的準備徵兆較小,配合動力線與步法,加上凸肩,
           可以打出遠距的強力打擊,所以截拳道前手負責近七成的攻勢
        9.李小龍強調:正確的動作是高效率練習的基石

        黃景銘師傅認為如果李小龍還在世的話,截拳道的架構與發展應該仍是朝著原本截拳道的路線延續的(這是一個值得深思的問題)
        至於想要瞭解或解讀截拳道,我們應該要研讀:
        1.李小龍筆記,特別是晚期
        2.進入李小龍的思想(這一環是很重要的,因為截拳道是理論與技術的結合,而理論和技術互為表裡,相輔相成,藉由理論的延伸而使技術得以發展,藉由技術的實證而使理論得以周嚴。如果單純由理論面研究截拳道,在缺乏技術實證的規範下,將理論很容易無限擴張,超出了技術所能配合的範疇,而淪為空泛不切實際,又如果僅由技術面入手,在缺乏理論的支持下,無法有效地建立系統化的技術架構。由此可知,在研究截拳道時,對於李小龍所留下的理論與技術應該並重,不可偏廢。)

      攻擊五法:

      1.SDA:截拳道中最直接也是最難的技術,
                    但如果妥善運用則能讓對手在未來得及準備時驚訝中招。
         a.讓對手長期處於不確定的狀態,混淆他對我們意圖判斷的正確性
         b.透過看到目標的瞬間立刻出手來訓練直接打擊的能力

      2.PIA:虛實交互應用,或者打破慣性(利用破碎節奏)的攻擊,讓對手無法辦別何為虛招,
                  何為實擊,關鍵在於別做太多無謂的虛招,且虛招必須帶給對手具有脅迫性的意象。

         a.重心應該要隨時注意保持在穩定狀態
         b.善用兩個虛招配合一個實招攻擊,但是不要使用過多的虛招

       3.ABC:組合拳,第一擊應該善用前手發動,因為前手打擊是最快且較為精準的。

       4.ABD:引誘敵人露出空隙瞬間反擊,例如大幅拉開距離誘對手快速貼近追擊時瞬間反擊,
                     或者拉近距離誘對手出手而連消帶打。

       5.HIA:接手攻擊,處理對手的架手或攻擊後或同時攻擊,
                    這方面的技術詠春拳有著極高的參考價值,
                    不過黃景銘師傅在本次研討會並沒有針對這部分做說明或示範。

以下是英文原稿...

Notes taken in Sifu Ted Wong’s Seminar on 11th and 12th May 2008 (Hong Kong)

Part 1.

1. 1st step:

a. stance

b. footwork

c. control distance

d. timing

2. Bi-Jung stance (On-Guard Position): all the punches come from the OGP

3. JKD relies on speed, punches, kickings, and the precise landing of punches/kickings on the target. All based on the good manipulation of ‘footwork.

4. How to simplify all the movements?

5. Bruce Lee: Wing Chung is too limited, so he sought for the answer by studying the Chinese/Western philosophy and Ying-Yang theory. In addition, he voraciously read a lot of books on Fencing and boxing and observed how the principles can be used in his kung fu. So finally he concluded JKD as following:

a. simplicity

b. directness

c. non-classical

6. JKD emphasizes the ‘muscle memory’. If with too many movements, muscles cannot handle it and will lead to slow responses to the coming stimulus.

7. Daily decrease: you will undergo many processes through years of training.

8. the developing processes of JKD:

a. Partiality

b. fluidity (still many things inside)

c. memory in your hands and feet

d. emptiness

e. No thinking, or you’ll be slow. All the sports are the same.

Part 2:

1. OGP: speed and power

2. front hand forward, which is opposite to boxing

3. it’s like fencing without the sword.—faster

4. Bruce Lee: GOOD FORM IS THE FOUNDATION OF EFFICIENCY.

5. Ted Wong argues that if Bruce Lee is still alive, JKD will still be the same:

f. check Bruce’s noted taken in the final stage

g. get into Bruce’s head

h. fencing, boxing, science and philosophy are what Bruce had been doing

6. triangle: the most solid structure. Since the action will lead to the reaction power, this stance can make whole body absorb this power.

7. no center line—attack line. 3 lines aligned. Footwork is the key.

8. When approaching the opponent, we can open the guard and it can make the rear cross easily delivered.

9. Front hand attacking:

a. setting up

b. power shot

c. long range

d. use body to set up the punches rather than the hands

e. half beat

10. shovel hook: a body shot

11. Speed and punch:

a. you actually see it

b. you feel it

c. your brain perceives it

d. if you see and react, it will be too slow. You should be like “thunder”!

12. Non-telegraphed movements:

a. hand first

b. with proper momentum , one can hit again and again—kinetic chain

13. distance control is dependent on how one uses his footwork.

Five Ways of Attacks

1. simple angle attack: the most difficult attack in JKD.

a. makes the opponents confused all the time. So he can’t distinguish the real and the fake attacks.

b. How to train this? We have to hit the target IMMEDIATELY while seeing the target.

2. Attack by combination: use front hand to set up, because it’s fast and precise.

3. PIA: feint, but make it like real.

a. gravity should be maintained all the time.

b. 2 feints and followed by a real hit. But not too many feints!!

c. Broken rhythm: step in and out.

4. ABD:

a. when the opponent is coming, counter him.

b. Use rear hand to parry and front hand to attack

c. Sometimes don’t need to parry, but counter back directly.

5. HIA: Sifu Ted didn’t say anything about this in this seminar.
